The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) needed an artist to illustrate the women leaders of the organization in honor of Women's History Month.

As a NASCAR fan, I was commissioned to illustrate these four women:

  • Lori Collier Waran

    • First Woman President of the Richmond Raceway

  • Julie Giese

    • President of the Chicago Street Course, the first NASCAR Cup Series street race in history

  • Latasha Causey

    • First Black Woman President of a NASCAR-sanctioned track

  • Jill Gregory

    • Executive Vice President and General Manager of Sonoma Raceway
