To honor Black History Month, I was featured as a content creator and illustrator for a social initiative that highlights and empowers creatives from the Black Community. This project amplifies Black voices by celebrating art, history, and culture across various Photoshop channels.

Afrofuturism is a cultural aesthetic that combines science-fiction, history and fantasy to explore the African-American experience and aims to connect those from the black diaspora with their forgotten African ancestry.

African American Quilts.
Quilts are not only important works of art but also vessels that have preserved the hopes and dreams of Black families across generations. Beyond their artistic value, quilts have served a political function. They were utilized as coded messages to lead Black Americans to freedom during slavery and document the triumphs achieved throughout history.

To create the quilts used in the piece, I studied quilts over the centuries like Gee's Bend.
